Show TV's Upcoming Series Sevdan Bir Ateş Is All Set To Begin The Shooting

The title of the upcoming series starring Murat Ünalmış and Özge Özacar, previously known as "Eski Masal", has officially been changed to "Sevdan Bir Ateş".Preparing to launch in the new season on Show TV, the cast recently gathered for their first table read and rehearsals before heading to the set for filming. Set against the mystic backdrop of Cappadocia, the series brings to life the timeless narrative of Mirza (Murat Ünalmış) and Leyla (Özge Özacar) as they navigate deep-rooted family secrets, revenge, and past reckonings while an impossible love story blossoms between them.Produced by Mehmet Canpolat and Sadi Canpolat under CNP Film, the project is directed by Murat Saraçoğlu and written by Eda Tezcan alongside Selda Akın.Joining the lead duo, the ensemble cast features Sitare Akbaş (Destan), Sezin Bozacı (Macide), Gökçe Eyüboğlu (Mihre), Taner Rumeli (Yaman), Aslıhan Karalar (Ceren), Yeşim Gül (Vuslat), Evren Duyal (Mukaddes), Ceren Taşçı (Fidan), Beyti Engin (İrfan), Yusuf Gökhan Atalay (Tesbihçi), alongside İsmail Hakkı Ürün, Hande Canpolat, Kayra Sır, Süreyya Kilimci, Ege Gönülal, Melih Kırkbir, Sermet Yeşil, and Soydan Soydaş.Speaking at the table read, lead actor Murat Ünalmış expressed his joy at being part of such a strong team and highlighted the personal significance of filming in Cappadocia, where he has lived for nearly 20 years.
