The script reading for Kubilay Aka and Hafsanur Sancaktutan's upcoming series mercan köşk has been conducted.

The series which ATV prepares to bring before the audience in September begins with the shocking event of Cemre, a police officer's daughter, losing her father in an attack. This profound loss drives her to follow in his footsteps and become a police officer herself, fueled by a desire for justice.

Her life takes an unexpected turn when she makes a sudden decision to marry. However, right after the ceremony, her husband mysteriously disappears, leaving her in a desperate search for answers.

This quest leads Cemre back to her greatest trauma—Tarsus, the very place where her father was killed. Her journey to the majestic Mercan Köşk completely disrupts the structured life of Aras, who has been keeping a massive secret to protect his family.

When their paths cross, a deadly conflict erupts between two rival families. Yet, amidst the danger, an intense bond and the first sparks of an impossible love begin to form between Cemre and Aras.

When the doors of the grand mansion close, they find themselves trapped in the center of a dark secret hidden by both families for years.

The rich ensemble of the cast includes veteran actor Mehmet Özgür, who portrays the character of Esved Hozan, and Zeyno Eracar, who steps into the role of Behiye Kızılhan, representing the two rival families.

The cast also features Zehra Kelleci as Gülcan, the widowed bride of the Hozan family and Can Bartu Aslan as Cemre's younger brother.

The cast further includes Ulviye Karaca, Tülin Özen, Halil Babür, Haki Biçici, Merve Şeyma Zengin, Selin Köseoğlu, and Berna Cındıl.

Filmed in the magical atmosphere of Tarsus, this powerful co-production by FARO and Sinehane is directed by Yahya Samanci.

The script is written by Ahunur Serdaroglu, who also created the original story, alongside Atilla Ozel, Nalan Merter Savas, and Nuriye Bilici.

The project will be boosted further by music of the award-winning Toygar İşıklı who has given music for popular series like Kara Para Aşk, Aşk-ı-Memnu, Kara Sevda and çukur.
