ATV is bringing Burak Ozcivit back to the screens with “Güneşin Doğduğu Yer”.ATV is preparing for its upcoming series "Güneşin Doğduğu Yer" at full speed. A major change has occurred in the casting as Uğur Güneş, who was initially cast for the central role of Kenan, withdrew due to a last-minute disagreement, and the role has been accepted by Burak Özçivit.The series is based on the love story between Kenan Kozan, the son of a powerful family based in Adana, and a German woman named Tina. While the production has not found its Tina yet, the central roles are played by Sibel Taşçıoğlu and Görkem Sevindik.

Sibel Taşçıoğlu plays the role of Kenan's mother, Celadet, the Hanımağa of the Kozan family. On the other hand, Görkem Sevindik plays the role of Ceyhun, whose story tracks from Germany to Adana. He is also the son of Celadet's close friend Devran, played by Devrim Yakut, who is a lady of an influential family as well.

The project features an impressive crew with a script written by Yıldız Tunç and directed by Çağrı Lostuvalı and Çiğdem Bozali. Due to the last-minute change in the leading male role, the filming schedule has been slightly delayed and is now planned to begin on June 25, 2026.

The comprehensive secondary cast includes Muharrem Türkseven portraying Celadet's oldest son, İhsan.Bahar Süer is set to appear as Gül Kozan, who is the daughter-in-law of the household.İlker Yavuz will play Zeki, an employee operating directly under the command of Celadet Hanım, serving as the ultimate keeper of the family's deepest secrets. The production also features Ali Erkazan, who steps into the role of Heybet.
