Anne Yarisi: New Cappadocia Drama Featuring Burcu Ozberk And Cihangir Ceyhan

The cast of the highly anticipated new series Anne Yarısı, starring Burcu Özberk, Cihangir Ceyhan, and Esra Dermancıoğlu, has finally gathered for their first script reading and rehearsals.Produced by Mehmet Yiğit Alp under NTC Medya and directed by Semih Bağcı from a screenplay written by Melis Civelek, Zeynep Gür, and Merve Göntem, the production will kick off filming on August 1st in İzmir before moving to the mesmerizing atmosphere of Cappadocia for the rest of the series.The drama follows an emotional journey stretching from Germany to Cappadocia. Following a painful prison sentence in Germany and the tragic death of his great love, Zeren, Ali Altay (Cihangir Ceyhan), the heir of the prominent Altay family in Nevşehir, gains his freedom and returns home, only to confront a hidden child and a shocking secret.At the same time, Zeren's sister Zeynep (Burcu Özberk), a strong and dedicated teacher, travels to Cappadocia to track down and claim custody of her late sister's daughter, Ege. Eight years after the initial tragedy, Ali and Zeynep's paths cross around the same child, plunging them into a heated custody struggle and a fierce family war.Overseeing the Altay mansion with strict authority is family matriarch Meryem Altay (Esra Dermancıoğlu), while Ali's aunt Altın (Selen Uçer) and her son Özcan (Ömer Nadir Civelek) fuel an ongoing inheritance feud across two shared-courtyard mansions.

The cast also features remarkably talented child actors in central roles. Melisa Duru Ünal plays Ali's daughter Ege, having previously gained widespread attention in the popular NOW series Leyla: Hayat... Aşk... Adalet... as the childhood version of Cemre Baysel's character Leyla.Joining her is Umut Kaplıca as Osman, who recently made a strong impression and gained attention through his role in Sahipsizler.The cast also features Selen Uçer, Fatih Gühan, Cansu Fırıncı, Mert Denizmen, Merve Şen, Dilşah Demir, İlayda Çevik, Ömer Nadir Civelek, Deniz Gürkan, Berkay Akdemir, Yeliz Korkmaz, Abdurrahman Yunusoğlu, Ürüncan Keskin, and Murat Balcı.Anne Yarısı will premiere in the upcoming new season on NOW.
